NCPA Scholars must meet the following requirements:

ACADEMY PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

• The required courses include:
  • 4 years of mathematics
  • 4 years of science
  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of social studies
  • 2 years of the same foreign language
  • Students must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and a minimum 3.0 GPA in the above mentioned courses (core courses)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Attend a summer research program at UNL

• Complete the PLAN (pre-ACT) test sophomore year

• Complete the PSAT test junior year

• Register and take the ACT test three times starting no later than April of the junior year

• Complete capstone research project (senior year)
