Scholarships
Chancellor's Scholarship
Students who are finalists in nationally recognized scholarship competitions (e.g. National Merit Scholarship) are eligible for consideration for full tuition coverage plus a $2,000 stipend annually (Scholarship is applicable for up to 135 credit hours inclusive of all University of Nebraska credit, including approved study abroad and Extended Education credit.)
Students must be a named a finalist by the National Merit Corporation and name UNL first choice with National Merit Corporation or other nationally recognized organization (where applicable). Finalist must be a U.S. citizen and receive a 28 ACT or 1240 SAT.
Other scholarships may be available. However, students must apply for admission by January 15 to be eligible for consideration. Click here for
more information on scholarships. The University Honors Program at NEBRASKA allows high-achieving students to experience the excitement of a major research university within a community of scholars. The University Honors Program offers students:
- Small class sizes
- Interaction with fellow high-achieving students and faculty
- Honors-specific co-curricular programs
The University Honors Program also awards a limited number of Textbook Scholarships in the amount of $250 per semester, fall and spring semesters only, for up to 135 credit hours, four years, or the completion of bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.

The early notification deadline for the University Honors Program is November 15 and the final deadline for application to the program is March 1.
Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management
The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a recognized leader in interdisciplinary computer science and business management education. Admission to the program includes:
