Application Process
Students interested in the University Honors Program can apply for consideration to the program during the Honors Program Early Notification Deadline (November 15) OR for the Honors Program Final Deadline (March 1).
To get started:
- Apply for admission to the University at http://admissions.unl.edu/apply **
- Within five working days, you will receive an email with your NU ID number
- Use your NU ID number to access the What About Me! (WAM!) website at http://wam.unl.edu and apply for the University Honors Program
- Submit completed Reference Forms to the University Honors Program
Honors Program Early Notification Deadline - November 15
Honors Program Final Deadline - March 1
* Honors Program Scholarship: A limited number of Textbook Scholarships in the amount of $250 per semester, fall and spring semesters only, for up to 135 credit hours,four years, or the completion of a bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.
**Note: Students must be admitted to UNL before they can be considered for admission to NEBRASKA Honors; therefore, it is recommended that students apply for admission to the University by October 15 (for the Early Notification Deadline) or by February 1 (for the Final Deadline)
