PROGRAM DEFINITION
Each plant protection sciences major studies a core curriculum that provides a comprehensive look at plant protection encompassing course work in entomology, plant protection sciences and weed science. Core classes automatically qualify students for a minor in biological sciences. Beyond the core classes, students create their own specialized program of study in the area of their personal interests. Students with interests in crop production, horticulture or natural resources find plant protection sciences an excellent major to fulfill their career goals.
