PROGRAM DEFINITION
Architects produce design using creative insight, appreciation of the human condition and technical expertise. To prepare students for this challenge, Nebraska's architecture program provides a broad understanding of the arts and humanities as well as the specifics of technology.

FACILITIES
The Architecture Program is housed in the award-winning Architecture Hall, one of the oldest and yet most up-to-date buildings on campus. Beginning in your third year, you will be provided with an individualized work space within Architecture Hall and with ready access to its resources. Architecture Hall contains:
• Dedicated branch library including periodicals, books and slides for the use but student and faculty alike
• A gallery
• Computer labs
• Media Center with large and small format printing capability, photo studio and darkroom facilities
• Fully equipped shop with both wood and metal working capability
• A photography laboratory in addition to fully wired studio spaces and classrooms.
PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS (What's expected of you as an undergraduate student)
• Maintain a minimum GPA, defined by the department, to remain in good academic standing in the College
• Participate in design studios each semester during six years of study
• Gain Internship experience, a significant part of the program
