PROGRAM DEFINITION
The Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree program will prepare students for occupations that involve the application of science in society. The goal is to provide an integrated understanding of how basic and applied science benefit and impact us, from the individual to the biosphere. The program is also available as an online degree completion option.

NEBRASKA POINTS OF DISTINCTION
The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides flexibility for students to build strong competencies in natural resources and/or agricultural sciences.
The Integrative Systems and Agricultural Systems degree tracks give students a wide range of courses to choose from.
Flexibility in coursework enables the student to tailor the degree to their career interests.
Students are advised by faculty members from a broad range of disciplines.
The online degree completion option enables students with an associate's degree to complete their bachelor's degree entirely by distance classes.

FACILITIES
The Applied Science program at UNL is a college-wide major that involves faculty, classrooms, and laboratories from across the campus to provide students with a diversity of educational and experiential resources during their college careers.
