The Robitschek program is designed for students
who will have at least one more year of education to complete their degree in
the Czech Republic. For example, you would meet this requirement if you completed
one or more years of study before coming to the University of Nebraska, then
would return to your university to complete one or more years of your program.
Interested applicants shall submit a current Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
and a brief essay stating the reasons for the applicant's interest in studying
in the United States. The specific areas to be addressed in this essay are:
- How did you learn about the Robitschek Scholarship?
- What is your reason(s) for wanting to study in the United States?
- How might you expect that this year could impact your future goals?
- What would you like to be doing in 10 years?
- If you were accepted as a Robitschek Scholar, why do you think you would
be successful at the University of Nebraska?
- How many years of tertiary education do you need to complete your degree
in the Czech Republic, and what degree will you obtain?
