Transfer students are welcome to apply to the University Honors Program. This is a completely separate and independent process from applying for admission to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Items needed for a complete application to the University Honors Program:

• A completed Transfer/Upperclass Honors Application for Admission
• Your 250-word essay
• Two letters of recommendation from two professors who have taught college classes you have taken

When will applications be reviewed?

Priority review of applications will begin March 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis after the initial deadline.
